Postdoctoral fellowships¶
Grant-funded postdoctoral fellowships will be advertised online when available. Filip is also very happy to support applicants for external individual fellowships. Please get in touch with a CV and a cover letter as soon as possible to discuss those further. Some fellowships opportunities are collated here but the landscape is constantly changing so there might be more options available that better suit your background and interests.
- Career Development Fellowship for researchers from a Black heritage, including mixed Black background.
- Daphne Jackson Fellowship for those returning after a career break.
- EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowship to support international mobility.
- Levelhulme Trust Early Career Fellowship for researchers who have not yet held a full-time permanent academic post.
- Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellowship for researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe.
- Newton International Fellowship for non-UK scientists who wish to conduct research in the UK.
- Royal Academy of Engineering sometimes offers targeted postdoctoral fellowships.
- Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851 Fellowship for early career STEM researchers.
PhD studentships¶

Undergraduate summer internships¶
There is a limited number of paid undergraduate research opportunity programmes for summer studentships. Please get in touch substantially ahead of the deadlines to draft the best application possible.
